Elk's Coat Drive

Drop off coats and other winter items for donation at The Custer County Chief office. The coats will then be distributed at Community Connection on a first-come, first-serve basis for those in need at no cost.

The Great Cookie Contest

Thursday, October 25th 
Broken Bow Public Library
5:30 - 6:30 pm 

October is National Cookie Month and the Broken Bow Public Library is having a party and a contest!
Here's how the contest will work:
  • Sign up at the library if you are interested in competing
  • Open to all ages
  • Bring two dozen homemade cookies to be judged and to share with others by 5:00 that afternoon
  • Our judges will be "cookie greats" and they will start their difficult work at 5:30 pm
  • Cookies will be shared with everyone after the competition
  • The winner will receive the 2018 Great Cookie Trophy!

Teen Lock-in

A lock-in for T.A.B. members will be held at the library on Friday, October 26th, so teens be sure to mark your calendars! There are some forms for your parent or guardian to complete and they will be distributed during the October T.A.B. meeting on October 10th.

Brookestone View Halloween Event

Trick-or-treaters are invited to join the staff and residents of Brookestone View in Broken Bow on Halloween (Wednesday, October 31st) for lots of fun! They will be handing out candy from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm!

Family Fun Night -- Halloween Party

Wednesday, October 31st 5:00-6:00 pm

This is a free, family-oriented program. You are welcome to wear your costume and join the Library for some fun before a night of trick-or-treating. You will enjoy games, crafts, and some "Spooktacular" treats! They encourage you to include a stop by the library in your Halloween plans...see you then!
