Denim Day 2018 is Wednesday, April 25th; Healing Hearts & Families is asking businesses to encourage their employees to donate to be able to wear denim to their place of employment that day.

Bed Turning (a quilt show)
A Bed Turning ( a quilt show) will be Sunday, April 29, 2018, 2;00 p.m. at the Custer County 4-H Building. Presenters will be Kathy Henderson and others. Tickets are $5 (which includes pie and a chance to win a quilt or quilt hanging). Proceeds will be donated to the Jilg and Fiorelli families for medical expenses. Spring Into Giving
This unique, one-day fundraiser was created to support nonprofits and businesses in Custer County. “Spring Into Giving” will be held on May 1st, patrons are encouraged to shop local at participating businesses. Participating businesses agree to donate a portion of their sales on May 1st. The donations will be put in a grants fund at the Custer County Foundation and will be distributed back to local nonprofits in the form of grants. This retail day of giving has been created with three specific goals in mind: To raise awareness of the current philanthropic needs of our communities, to support our local businesses by promoting local shopping, and to inspire donors to circle together and make a difference in Custer County.
