Diaper Depot
WHAT: For parents of young children who have a genuine need of diapers are invited to come by the First Baptist Church of Broken Bow, NE. What you will receive is a package of diapers for each infant(s) of yours in diapers for FREE, plus one small package of wipes per household. This will help you get through until the next paycheck. If you already qualify for Food Pantry Assistance, or WIC or ? and you have children in diapers, you qualify to receive assistance from the First Baptist Church Diaper Depot.
WHEN: We are usually open the 3rd Wed. (noon to 6 pm) and Thurs. (9-3:30 pm) of each month (WIC is open at the same time in the local Veterans Building):

The Turbow Youth Basketball tournament will be held February 24-25.  There are over 70 teams plus their families and coaches attending this tournament, so be on the lookout for large crowds in restaurants and retail spaces over the weekend!  Games will be held in Broken Bow and Merna.

The annual Pancake/bake sale of Our Saviour Lutheran Church is rescheduled for Sunday, March 2, 2018 at the Custer County 4-H Building.  Pancakes, sausage and eggs will be served from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm.  A free will donation will be taken and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Broken Bow School 6th grade Halsey trip fund. Home baked foods will also be available for purchase. This event is sponsored with Thrivent Community Action Team. For more information call 308-872-5093.
